About 3B
Tech that works.People who care.
We're a small team of Salesforce gurus genuinely obsessed with client service. We build the tools we'd actually want to use - and we hold ourselves accountable for every word, line of code and ticket along the way.
Why we started
The best tools are usually born out of a bit of frustration.
In 2013, our founderJames Ridgeentered the world of recruitment fresh out of university. He saw firsthand how the industry relied on manual slog and "good enough" systems.
A few years later, James helped buildSirenum- a platform that transformed workforce management across the globe. But while the engine was running smoothly, he noticed a flat tire: getting people onto the platform was a compliance nightmare. Onboarding was slow, messy, and manual.
In 2019, James left to build3B Onboarding. The goal was simple: make candidate onboarding native to Salesforce and actually pleasant to use.
When Sirenum was acquired by Bullhorn in 2021, a new gap appeared. Innovation in workforce management had stalled. We realised that for staffing agencies to truly thrive, they needed more than just a "folder" for documents or a "calendar" for shifts - they needed a seamless, end-to-end flow.
Today, 3B has evolved into a full automation suite. We've reunited Onboarding and Workforce Management under one roof, making staffing operations feel less like a chore and more like a competitive advantage.
How we build
The "magic" under the hood.
We don't just build software - we build solutions we'd actually want to use. Three rules keep us honest.
Principle 01
Abstract first
We build for flexibility. Your business shouldn't have to change to fit our code - our code bends to your data model, your edge cases and the way your ops team actually works.
Principle 02
Design for humans
We're obsessed with UI and UX. If a tool is powerful but painful to look at, it's not finished. Every screen is reviewed for clarity, density and joy - recruiters and admins included.
Principle 03
The latest tech
We use the newest tools in the Salesforce ecosystem so your stack is future-proof - and fast. LWC, Flow, agentic AI on n8n, Heroku Private Spaces - picked for fitness, not novelty.
Our beliefs
Streamline everything - from the first click to the final paycheck.
We're a small team of Salesforce gurus who are genuinely obsessed with client service. We believe in streamlining everything - from the first click to the final paycheck.
Actually, our tools turned out to be too good to keep to ourselves. While we started in staffing, we realised the wider world needed better ways to work, too. That's why ourForms,CLMandDigital Experience Builderare now available to everyone, regardless of industry.
"Whether you're placing nurses or managing contracts, you deserve software thatjust works."
How we speak
Our tone of voice.
Every word we write - whether it's a button in our app or a complex legal contract - is an opportunity to build trust. Three principles, no exceptions.
01
Straightforward kindness
We don't use "corporate-speak" to sound important. We use clear, inclusive language because we respect your time. If we can say it in five words instead of fifty, we will.
The Coffee Test
We write the way we'd speak to you over a coffee. No jargon, no "heretofore," just helpfulness.
02
Expertly human
We are Salesforce gurus, but we don't hide behind technical complexity. Our job is to make the complex feel simple. We take responsibility for the message - you'll never see us hide behind the passive voice.
03
Warm wit
We take our work seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We add a pinch of humour to the mundane moments - because business software doesn't have to be boring.
Internal guardrails
Custodian of the brand - that applies to everyone here.
From James to our newest developer, the same three policies decide what gets shipped, what gets shown, and how we show up when something goes wrong.
The "user-first" filter
Before we ship a new feature for our Forms or CLM tools, we ask:
"Does this make the user's life easier - or just our code cleaner?"
If it doesn't solve a real-world pain point, it doesn't get built.
Radical transparency
We don't believe in "hidden" fees or "black box" logic. Our tech methodology - Building Abstract - means we show our work. We want you to understandhowyour staffing operations are being automated, not justthatthey are.
Obsessive service
Client service isn't a department here - it's a baseline. If a client is stuck, we don't just "log a ticket." We solve the problem.
We'd rather be known for beingobsessedthan for beingefficient.
Why this matters
We're publishing our secret sauce so you can hold us to it.
By releasing our internal playbook, we hold ourselves accountable. We want our partners in bothStaffing(Onboarding, WFM, VMS) andNon-Staffing(Forms, Doc Studio, Digital Experience Builder) to know exactly what to expect from us.
